Marliyn C. Benton, Ed.D.
Dr. Marilyn Benton began her career in education as a Home Economics teacher in Fayetteville, NC after completing her undergraduate degree at Campbell University. She taught Home Economics for eleven years while simultaneously completing her Master of Education and Education Specialist degrees. Upon completion of her Doctorate in Education, Dr. Marilyn Benton committed to aiding her husband in the development of their private educational company, Academics Plus®, Inc. Dr. Marilyn Benton continues in her role of directing the daily operations of the company. She oversees the services provided to students and serves as the compliance officer for policies and procedures regarding program implementation.
